#20 Elizabeth Ann Pryor is my 3rd great grandmother on my father’s paternal side. She was born the 16th of May 1822 to John Pryor and Elizabeth Brim Hazard in Taylor County Kentucky. She married William Shipp in 1839 in Green County Kentucky and they went on to have twelve children that I know about. She died on 1 September 1891 at the age of 69 and is buried in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Taylor County Kentucky. She lived 69 years on this earth and never traveled more than a few miles from where she was born. She was born just after the War of 1812 and lived through the Civil War. I would love to have her tell us what that must have been like.
