1942 Daddy worked we slept late and went to Town got Telegram from Barns to lower rent. Sent Ans. yes. They are down to one ?.

1943 Dad worked  and Bud  Took off and went to Taft for a couple of Day or so. Hope we find a place to live

1945 I washed again Every thing as there is no place to wash at new apartment send clothes to Laundry. Marie & Roy came by going Bowling.

No place to wash in 1945. That must have made Grama’s life a lot harder.
