1942 Dad slept all Day very quiet No Mail Marie went Down to Pats today her 4 Days off

1943 Sat. Sure had to hustle Ran out of Butain. Got Butain clothes, chickens, Groc & Dad went To work. Marie came tonight

1944 Slept late went To Town Dad on afternoon tour letter from Lilly Johnie is sick Blood poisoning. Marie came tonight
