#21 Francis Chaudoin Sr. is my 5th great grandfather on my father’s maternal side. He was born on 27 May 1720 in the Province Region of France to Alexandre Chaudoin and Marie Boileau. He came to Virginia sometime before 1753 because he married Sarah Weaver in Virginia in that year. I know he was 5’4”, weighed 140 pounds, and was a barber. The reason I know this is because that is what was written on the wanted poster for him when he had a bounty on his head of 40 shillings for deserting the Virginia Militia during the French and Indian War.
